Manufactured by Spectre Powerboats the 36 foot long Zipp Express Spectre Cat is powered by two 500 horsepower Mercruiser engines which deliver 1,100 horsepower to the twin drives. The boat currently holds two World Speed records of 112.919 mph (APBA/UIM)
and 113.495 mph (SBI)
it has been clocked at over 117 mph in test runs.
