Zipp Express began the 2012 Season Winning the 3rd. Annual Cocoa Beach Event.

After a successful 2011 Season Zipp Express began the 2012 Season in Cocoa Beach taking First Place in it's class. The Events began Thursday, May 17th. in Downtown Cocoa Beach. Friday the Events moved to the Port and the Races were on Sunday. The course started at the Cocoa Beach Pier heading South to Lori Wilson Park then turning back North to the Pier.

The Zipp Express Offshore Powerboat Race Team is one of the most successful race teams today, placing in the top three in 100% of finished races, clenching three divisional championships and four world championships in their first two years. They currently hold the kilo world speed record for their class. The success of the Zipp Express Team has resulted in a large amount of media exposure, including television interviews, numerous magazine and newspaper articles, product advertisements, calendars and event posters. The team has been self sponsored since its beginning and is seeking corporate sponsorship on all levels.
